  2. How to download the created art picture?

Click the Download button and select your preferred image format. Downloads are available in PNG, JPEG, and WEBP.

  3. What is the resolution of the generated images?
    • You can view an image’s resolution by clicking on it — the resolution is displayed in the top-right corner. By default, most generated images are between 1–2 megapixels.
    • If you need a larger size, you can upscale your image to very high resolution (up to 64 megapixels) using the Upscale to High Resolution editing tool.
    • For images of illustration or line styles, you can use the Vectorization tool convert them into resolution-independent vectorized formats, meaning they can be resized to any dimension without loss of quality—perfect for printing and professional design use.
  4. Does upscaling an image improve the quality of vectorized results?

Yes. Upscaling can help, but mainly by improving detail detection rather than vector resolution.

    • Upscaling increases the pixel detail in the source image, which allows the vectorization process to detect cleaner edges, smoother contours, and finer shapes. This often results in more accurate paths and better overall line quality in the final vector (SVG/PDF).
    • However, keep in mind that vector formats themselves are resolution-independent. Upscaling doesn’t make the vector “higher resolution,” but it can significantly improve how well details are traced during vectorization—especially for small features, thin lines, or low-resolution originals.
  5. How to print a physical copy of the art picture?
  6. What kind of images are best for vectorization?

Images with clean outlines, flat colors, and well-defined shapes produce the best vectorization results. Illustrations, line art, coloring pages, logos, icons, and simple graphic designs work especially well because they avoid subtle gradients, heavy shading, and complex textures.

While our Vectorization tool can process almost any image, photos or highly detailed images may result in overly complex vectors. For best results, you can first use the Photo to Art tool to convert photos into illustration or line-style artwork, then send the output to the vectorization tool.

  7. Can I convert a drawing into a realistic photo?

Yes. Use the Art to Photo feature within the Photo to Art tool to convert drawings, sketches, or illustrations into realistic photo-style images.

  8. In "Photo to Art", what kind of photo should I use to get the best results?

For the best results, use a high-resolution photo with good lighting and clean background.

  9. Does photo editing preserve the original image resolution?
    • Most photo editing tools preserve the image’s original resolution. Edit by Asking is an exception, so we recommend using a specialized editing tool whenever possible.
    • You can always upscale edited images to higher resolutions using the Upscale to High Resolution editing tool.
  10. Can I edit an image in multiple steps?

Yes. After creating an image, you can continue editing it by selecting tools from the Edit menu below the image or from the Edit option in the image viewer. You can apply multiple edits in sequence, building on each previous result.

For example, you can create an image, remove unwanted objects, transform it into a different style, and then upscale it to a much higher resolution.

  11. Can I run multiple jobs while another is processing?

Yes. You can run multiple jobs in parallel while waiting for others to finish.

    • Click Run this job in background to move the current job to the background and unlock the interface.
    • Switch to another tool in the app and start a new job.

You’ll receive status updates via the job indicator button in the bottom-right corner, where you can also view recent jobs and track the progress of running jobs.

  12. How can I quickly access my past work?

You can view your recent work by clicking the Recent Jobs button in the bottom-right corner. To access all of your work, click your account button in the top-right corner and select My Archive.

  13. Can I use the generated art for commercial purposes? Can I resell the generated art?

We do not restrict how you use the generated art. You can use it for commercial purposes and resell it, as long as it does not violate the copyright of the original reference photo.

  14. Where is my data saved?

Your data is stored solely for the purpose of providing the service, securely housed on our servers in United States. You can choose to delete your data after creating and downloading your art pictures. See below.
